Measurement method
How does AuraScope measure AI visibility for travel brands?
AuraScope measures a fixed panel of traveller questions across answer engines, records the sources and routes in each answer, then repeats the same instrument after changes. Results stay directional when hotel changes cannot be separated from model, retrieval or platform drift.

Start with a fixed question panel
The baseline uses traveller questions selected for the property's real markets, intents and competitor set. The wording, engines and run conditions are recorded so the panel can be repeated.
Record answers, sources and routes
We capture whether the property is missing, mentioned, recommended or directly cited. We also record the sources used and whether the answer routes the traveller towards an OTA or the direct site.
- Property inclusion and prominence
- Claims made about the property
- Cited source types and domains
- OTA and direct-site routing
Remeasure the same instrument
After an intervention, AuraScope repeats the same questions across the same engines and compares the result with the baseline. Repeated runs reduce the risk of treating one variable answer as a stable change.
Check what else changed
The comparison records model, retrieval and measurement-system changes alongside changes made by the property. Control properties help show whether movement is specific or reflects a wider platform shift.
State the limitation
If the evidence cannot separate the property's intervention from answer-engine drift, we say so. Visibility movement is not presented as guaranteed booking growth or causal commercial lift.
